God’s Timing Never Fails

Welcome to The Paige Project’s renewed website! You wouldn’t believe what we’ve been through to get here and the setbacks we faced. Through my website I shared my story, gave my testimony, and encouraged readers with my blogs. My writing skills expanded, and my ministry was starting to grow; I was excited to see where God would bring The Paige Project. Then, something happened that complicated the progress of my non-profit.

Disappointment When Our Plans Fail

Some website settings weren’t correctly functioning, and we needed to get that figured out. For a few years, we had been trying to get it fixed but couldn’t find the right person. Again and again, nothing seemed to work out. Then, last June, it completely crashed. We were all perplexed as to why that happened; the reason remained unknown to us. After many hurdles, I was beginning to feel despair and discouragement; how can I ever get this task completed? Without a website, how can I move forward with The Paige Project? Nothing seemed to be successful. I longed to grow my ministry and share the love of Jesus Christ.

There were many days I prayed and asked God for His help to fix this issue. “Lord, will you please provide the right person for this project? I want to get it done so we can continue to serve You and Your people. I trust that Your timing is perfect. Whatever it takes, I will follow Your lead.” I didn’t know what would happen next or who God would send, but six months later, the Lord answered my prayers.

The One Who Knows Best

One day, a Healthcare Partner for our medical equipment noticed my shirt for The Paige Project and asked about it. After I explained about my non-profit ministry, my mother mentioned that I needed someone to help work on my website. He piped up and said, “My best friend is a website designer!” He didn’t hesitate to call his friend, Thanos, and tell him all about my story. I didn’t even know what to think but I appreciated the effort! The next thing I knew, Thanos offered to help. I was amazed!

Our plans can seem better, but when we take a step back and carefully examine what God is doing, we find His plan is better than ours! We may grab a doorknob but realize it's locked – we can’t turn it at all! Then, unexpectedly, the knob turns easily, and the door flies open! It may take a while before our goals are reached: three months, one year, ten years? God’s power can never be underestimated. From our times of waiting, we can
learn to be patient and trust in His will.

When Thanos took on the project, he investigated and found out that the website was deleted. When I heard the news, I thought, “Yikes!” Everything I had done – all my blogs and content – was gone. Remember how I mentioned earlier that this website is renewed? Thanos was able to start over from scratch. He was amazing; he listened to my ideas, dreams, and hopes; he made sure my needs were met and throughout our time of working together, I saw God’s grace and kindness on display.

Trust the Process

Awesome friends, look at this website that Thanos brought to life and completed! Oh, how grateful I am to see the utmost work unfolding before my eyes. God can bring the right people into our lives when the timing is right. Why would God’s timing never fail? Because He who orchestrates all things knows which door of opportunity is the best for us.
