Blowing UP my Goals

2019 is here and in full swing!! Whoa. I can’t believe it! I feel as if I have traveled through time!

Last year I had many wonderful opportunities and accomplishments.

Some of these include:

  • Speaking events
  • Met Others with the same disorder as my own
  • Created a new logo & website
  • Met other writers
  • Promoted my books
  • Attended several writing events
  • Raised awareness for my disorder (RTD)

These opportunities and accomplishments have led me to realize new strengths and talents in myself that I have never seen before.

Throughout the year of 2018, I was amazed by how God used my story to impact and inspire others. One of my most memorable and rewarding speaking engagements to date was at my former church.

My Mom was invited to speak at their Ladies Tea and she asked if they could include me in the event. The ladies gladly obliged. After my mom gave her testimony, I gave mine. I felt such improvement in the way I gave my speech and my interpreter and I were on the same wavelength that day!

As much as I have cherished every opportunity to speak, this one was set apart. The people made it so special. Many of them knew me as a young girl and haven’t seen me since. After I gave my speech, I was overwhelmed by their standing ovation. I had never felt such honor from an audience before! The ladies even lined up after my speech to express just how much my testimony had encouraged them. I was truly touched by their kind words!

Since this speech, my goal has been to recreate this experience with other groups who didn’t known me as a child. I strive to tell my story in a way that allows others to connect with me even better than before.

As important as it is to reflect on my experiences, it is also important to look to the future and establish new goals!

Here are some of my 2019 goals:

  • Start a TPP newsletter (Starting soon! Go subscribe on my home page!)
  • Begin the process of published my third children’s book (Eek!)
  • Finish the first draft of my memoir
  • Book more speaking engagements
  • Continue to raise awareness for RTD

2018 was challenging but I learned a lot about myself my non-profit, The Paige Project. I have become more mission minded and more equipped to execute it.

This is only the beginning!

I hope to achieve even MORE this year and ultimately bring glory to my gracious God.

Awesome readers, what did you achieve in the year of 2018? What are your goals for 2019?!

Happy New Year!

<3,

Paige
